About Goa
The usual route goes south via Mumbai, then either down the Konkan coast or inland via Pune and Kolhapur. We plan it over two days with an overnight halt, usually around Mumbai or Pune.
Many travellers fly to Goa instead. A road trip suits groups who want one vehicle for the whole holiday, with stops in Mumbai, Lonavala or Kolhapur on the way.
