About Madhya Pradesh
Ujjain is about 11–12 hours from Rajkot via Ahmedabad, Godhra and Indore. Omkareshwar is around 140 km from Ujjain, and Indore sits between them, so the three combine naturally.
Maheshwar, with its ghats and handloom sarees, and Mandu's ruined palaces are worthwhile additions for a longer trip.
