Tour overview

Temples, coast and forest in five days: Dwarka and Somnath, a night by the sea in Diu with its fort, caves and Nagoa Beach, then Gir. This is an official Chale Trip package: 4 Nights / 5 Days, starting and ending in Rajkot (Ex-Rajkot), with the same vehicle and driver for the whole tour.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day01

   Day 1: Rajkot → Dwarka

2. Day02

   Day 2: Dwarka → Somnath

   Local Dwarka sightseeing, then roughly 230–250 km to Somnath along the coast (approx.)

   Night stay: Somnath

3. Day03

   Day 3: Somnath → Diu

   In Diu

   • Diu Fort
   • Naida Caves
   • Nagoa Beach

   Somnath to Diu is about 85 km, roughly 2 hours (approx.)

4. Day04

   Day 4: Diu → Gir

   • Diu → Gir
   • Devalia Safari / Gir Sightseeing Optional

   Roughly 100–120 km, about 2.5–3 hours (approx.)

   Night stay: Gir

5. Day05

   Day 5: Gir → Rajkot

   • Morning Gir Jungle Safari Subject to permit & availability
   • Rajkot Drop

   ≈ 155–165 km, about 3.5–4 hours (approx.)

   Tour ends in Rajkot

Gir jungle safaris need a permit from the Gujarat Forest Department and run in fixed slots; the national park is usually closed during the monsoon (roughly mid-June to mid-October). We plan the day around your safari slot.
