About Gandhinagar
Most travellers from Rajkot come to Gandhinagar for government work, events or business at GIFT City, and many add darshan at Akshardham. The city sits about 25–30 km from central Ahmedabad, so the two are easy to combine.
Adalaj stepwell, on the road between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, is one of Gujarat's most beautiful monuments.

Getting there from Rajkot
About 235–250 km from Rajkot via the Ahmedabad highway and ring road, roughly 4.5–5 hours. Ahmedabad airport is about 20 km away.
