Route overview
The road heads north to Morbi, then to Maliya and across to Samakhiali in Kutch before turning west to Bhuj. The landscape changes from Saurashtra farmland to the open salt flats of the Rann, which is part of the journey's charm.
Most travellers use Bhuj as a base for a 2–3 day Kutch trip: the White Rann at Dhordo, Kala Dungar, the craft villages around Bhujodi, Mandvi beach and Dholavira. A multi-day booking with the same car and driver is the easiest way to see it.
